Is the first lesson really free?
Yes. Twenty five minutes with any teacher, one free trial per teacher, and no card is asked for. You use it to check your level and see whether you get on.
Do I need to buy a subscription?
No. You buy single lessons or packages, and they sit in your account as credits. Nothing renews on its own and nothing is charged without you pressing a button.
How do credits work?
One credit is one lesson of the type you bought. You spend it when you place a lesson on your teacher's calendar. Your balance and every movement in it are listed in your portal.
Do credits expire?
Packages carry a validity window, shown on the package before you buy and again on your receipt. Single lessons do not expire. If a credit is close to expiring you get an email in time to use it.
What if I have to cancel?
Cancel more than twenty four hours ahead and the credit returns to your account straight away. Inside that window the credit is spent, because your teacher held the hour for you. If your teacher cancels, you always get the credit back.
How do the lessons happen?
On Google Meet. Every booking creates its own link, and it appears in your portal and in your confirmation email. You need a browser, a microphone and somewhere reasonably quiet.
Which languages can I learn?
Spanish and English, in both directions. Teachers list the languages they teach and the levels they take on their profile, from A1 through C2.
Can I pay in my own currency?
You can pay in dollars, euros or pounds. Each price is written for that currency rather than converted at checkout, so the number you see is the number you pay.
What happens after a lesson?
Your teacher writes a short report with what you covered, what to practise and any homework. It lands in your portal, and the homework comes back marked once you submit it.
Can I change teacher?
Yes. Credits belong to the teacher and lesson type you bought them for, so talk to us before you buy if you are unsure. Trials are free precisely so you can try more than one person first.
Can I get a refund?
Unused credits can be refunded to the original card within thirty days of purchase. Write to us and say which order. Lessons you have already taken are not refundable.
Can I teach on Rincón?
Applications are open. You keep your rate, your calendar and your students, and you agree the commission in writing before your profile goes live.
